In the business industry there are a lot of different approaches that can be taken for training. The goal of large corporations is to make sure that their executives react properly to problems in a manner that will help them to move forward. You do not want to put the company at risk because of an executive that is incapable of pursuing their objective when they are confronted with obstacles.
One approach that some companies have taken to this is neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) training. The reason that a lot of training materials focus on this approach is that it is a way to analyse the difference between different patterns of behaviour and the experiences that they trigger. This means that the NLP method works to link behaviour with different patterns of thought that will help people to work through difficult situations.
By helping people to be more self-aware of their decisions and how they affect the world around them, the NLP training method claims that it can work to make sure that people see this and make a cognitive effort to make a subjective change to all aspects of their behaviour, whether this be physical or emotional. By doing this a company can train their employees to make decisions based on a certain process that will help the overall goals of the business
